22-1120: Jesus calls His Church to a life of true significance by holding fast to His Name in obedience and witness, to win the world and receive our eternal reward. Jesus had nothing against the Church at Philadelphia, but what He said to them didn’t feel like a compliment. He said they were small, or weak. One cannot be sure all that this means, but it does denote that to some degree they were considered insignificant. Though unrecognized by many and antagonized by others, Jesus recognized and celebrated them, and says that what He will do through them will be significant. In this message, Pastor Lane identified four aspects of true significance from King Jesus, and calls the church today to live for all that Jesus says is significant.
