22-1127: Jesus is the Source for life refreshment and restoration when we engage personal communion with Him. Jesus addresses the seventh church with His harshest condemnation. They are lukewarm, of no spiritual good, and he threatens to spit them out of his mouth if they do not repent. Laodicea had a problem as common to humanity as any other: they thought they were able to resource a life independent of God. but Jesus says the life they are really living is one of humiliation, the exact opposite of what they claimed.
