24-0407: God is the Ancient of Days who will sovereignly judge the kingdoms of this world to reward His people to rule His kingdom with Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, when He returns. Daniel 7 makes a decisive shift in the book, both in literary genre and historical timeline. But the shift is intentional as he provides a historical overview from an eternal perspective. His aim is to encourage God’s people to not lose hope and continue to trust in God. He does this by sharing his dream and vision, and helping the people to focus on matters of truth that matter. In this message, Pastor Lane walks through the chapter surveying Daniel’s dream.
