Firm in Faith Isaiah 7-8

24-0128: Jesus proves sufficient to hold life firm when He is the center of all hope and faith. King Ahaz rejected God’s offer for a sign to receive his promise, and instead let his fear drive him to make a deal with the devil. But that was no deal. God warned him that his fear would cause him to run right into the hands of God’s judgment. And when that judgment came, it would come faster and be more severe and all-pervasive than Ahaz or the people could imagine. God expands His warning to all the people so that any who heard and believed could turn to Him and live. This passage raises the question, “When God’s judgment comes, how do those who trust him live?” In this message, Pastor Lane identifies three ways to live by faith to be firm in the Lord, and an invitation to all. We pray this message helps and encourages.
