21-0404: God raised Jesus from the grave and enthroned Him above so He could give life to all who believe and raise them with Him. On the morning of Jesus’ resurrection, his followers were still mourning his death and completing his funeral. But in their grief a glorious revelation would completely change everything. The Angel announced, “He is not here; but has risen.” Luke records the responses of Jesus’ disciples, that they failed to believe, at first, but then saw with eyes of faith that Jesus was the resurrected Lord Jesus.
