The Voice of Hope Luke 1:67-79

19-1222: Jesus is our eternal hope because even when our faith is weak God’s promise remains strong. Zechariah was a man who had walked with the Lord for many years, yet when an angel appeared to him to announce the Lord’s will he did not believe. He was mute for months until his son’s birth. Then, at the birth of his son, John the Baptist, the Lord released his lips for the prophecy that he shares in this passage. Doubt and unbelief deceive at a deep level within us. We must be careful to listen to the Lord and trust at all times. Zechariah’s prophecy tells of a hope that is worthy of one’s trust at all time. His name is Jesus. He has come from God to save people. We pray this message helps and encourages you.
