19-0602: Divorce damages and destroys people, but Jesus heals and redeems to restore when we trust to obey Him. In these verses Jesus addresses a major problem in the first century. He shows that it’s been a major problem with people. But the way he addresses it is to bring clarity to the issue where chaos was ruling peoples lives. What divorce had become was neither what many believed it to be or what it had been made to become, by religious leaders. Rather, Jesus clarifies how we are to think about divorce that we might turn to Him and trust Him even in the midst of such a hard situation, and never lose hope.
