Pastor Lane continues the leadership segment in Titus by examining how elders guard the church. Titus identifies that real threats exist against the church from those who are unfit for any good work. Elders are to address such threats and rebuke their false teaching. God established elders to guard the church from false teaching because it creates wrong believing that leads to sinful living.
