Genesis, part 2: Purpose Re-visited Genesis 20

20-1025: God is working in you, Christian, to bring the fullness of His redemption to you as you trust Him to obey and declare the glory of His salvation in Jesus Christ to the whole world. Returning to the Genesis study, Pastor Lane overviews God’s covenant of salvation in this portion of Genesis with five distinctives. Drawing from Abraham, He shows how God is the Covenant, and He is the One working to bring about His redemption. Using Paul, in Romans 4, we gain more insight in what is taking place with Abraham and Why it is so important for us. The closer Abraham got to receiving God’s promise, the more the situation demanded he trust God fully and completely; the more he had to learn a new depth of faith and the greater portion of God’s faithfulness. When we reach the point of losing hope, we must remember the One who is our Hope. We pray this message helps and encourages.
