21-1121: Christ-followers press on in life by faith to pursue the upward call of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord. Paul’s knowledge of God compels him to continue to pursue God because He knows that what God holds for him is worth his pursuit. What he knows to be true of God is the reason he can be sure and confident to press on! And he invites the Philippians to join him in this pursuit, to become like Jesus.
