21-0103: The life blessed by God becomes more like Jesus in His righteousness. Psalm 1 champions life under God’s blessing. By contrast, three areas of life (walk, stand, sit) reveal how one lives under God’s blessing. Then, the result of God’s blessing on that life is championed as an appeal to pursue God’s blessing. And what is God’s blessing? A righteousness that is not our own. Life with God is only because we are made righteous before Him and by Him. And the one who lives under God’s blessing becomes more like the One who makes us righteous, Jesus Christ.
