Jesus is Peace: Christians live to get down and dirty as Servants John 13:1-20

18-0128: Jesus gives peace with God that sends Christians to share and serve as Servants. Peace with God comes only through Jesus Christ, who died to make peace by his shed blood on the cross as the Passover Lamb. Peace from God is not like all other peace, but includes a unique aspect. Peace with God comes by the cleansing, healing, freeing work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Peace with God also readies our lives to serve God’s Kingdom mission. In this message, Pastor Lane declared two truths that exalt Jesus as worthy of all worship, and two principles Jesus teaches to help a Christian know how to live in God’s peace. He culminates the sermon with four points of application that help each Christ-follower understand how God’s peace provides the propelling power for the Christian to live as a servant.
