Pastor Lane shares the last two characteristics of discipleship in the church. He identifies the kind of people that should be looked to for spiritual influence and the content of the conversations that need to take place in Christian discipleship. Discipleship is hard because it addresses all of life and applies the the truth of God’s Word through the gospel to every area of life, even the hard parts. When Christians consume their lives with the gospel, they grow and mature to adorn the gospel with their lives.
