Pastor Lane begins a new series entitled Real Life, seven traits of Godly Wisdom from the book of James.
The first trait of godly wisdom is Perseverance. Regarding trials in life, we shouldn’t just ‘deal with it and move on’ as worldliness encourages, but live to grow through trials by perseverance. Perseverance presses the Christian into Christ for spiritual maturity and full joy in all. Two threats to spiritual maturity are identified and one great temptation in trusting Christ. The sermon concludes with Biblical encouragement to remain steadfast and persevere.
