A Hand Writing on the Wall (Daniel 5)

24-0317: God is sovereign and worthy of all honor, glory, and praise because He holds life in His hands and gives eternal life in His Name. Daniel is called in for another Babylonian king, Belshazzar, to interpret a writing on the wall. He tells him that he too, like his predecessors, have hardened their spirit to the Most High God and now they will be called to account for their lives. And on that same night the king is killed and the kingdom passed to another. God is sovereign over all things, includes earthly kingdoms, and He rules according to His purpose. In this message, Pastor Lane identifies four aspects of God’s sovereignty that call every person to repent of pride and believe in Him who is the author of eternal life. We pray this message helps and encourages.

Lane, I have been listening to your sermons on Daniel from the beginning. Today’s sermon by far has been my favorite. Thank you so much for allowing God to speak through you. I am also doing a Daniel bible study so you are kinda helping me just a little. It’s been fun doing it together. Can Cindy ( your cos)
