20-0209: The call of God brings purpose to life when we walk by faith to His commands through Jesus Christ. Abraham is a model of faith. One reason that he is such a great model is because he is not perfect. God chooses whom He chooses. Our concern should not be WHO God chooses, but rather to ask WHY God chooses. God chose Abram as an instrument through whom His Messiah, Jesus Christ, would come into the world. When we trust in Jesus we can know God’s purpose for our life. In this message, Pastor Lane notes three aspects of Abram’s life that stand out of a life of faith. Then, he offers three exhortations to follow Jesus by faith and live in God’s purpose for life.
