BE God’s People: pure in heart Matthew 5:8

18-0715: Jesus purifies the heart by gospel redemption to see God as life’s all-consuming glory. Purity of heart is a state of being that we cannot produce for ourselves. But God forgives and cleanses us by faith in Jesus to make us pure and righteous before Him. This personal relationship grows an all-consuming love for Jesus that produces a single-minded devotion to Him. Christians live now grounded in what we know of God and held by our hope in Jesus.
