Fueled by the Triune God John 14:15-31

18-0311: The Christian life is fueled by the Triune God to display His love for all to hear and believe. Jesus is teaching his disciples to prepare them for his coming crucifixion and what that means for them after he departs from the earth. He introduces the Holy Spirit in this passage, the third person of the Trinity. Culminating his teaching from John 13, he builds this teaching on much of what He has already said to them, namely that obedience is the way believers show love for God, and his words are the words of the Father. From these two presuppositions he shows how Holy Spirit will work to bring about God’s Kingdom mission in the world through the disciples.
