16-0228: Living for God’s kingdom mission can get sidetracked by many things in life, but none more so that our relational statuses and situations in life. In 1 Corinthians 7 Paul addresses the situation in the Corinthian church that was distracting many from faithful living. He provides abundant commands, concerns, concessions and counsel to address their concerns. But he unifies them all by exhorting them to remain as they were called by God, and not get distracted from serving His mission.
