Intern Profile: Ben Wright

Ben Wright has been attending LifePoint for about a year. He was born and raised here in Ozark, Missouri, and continued his education at Drury University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in History in 2013 and continues to run his own small business, which was started in 2010. Ben would like to go on to seminary and get his Masters in Advanced Biblical Studies. He believes that God is calling him to the classroom and would like to teach Theological and Biblical Studies at the university level. In the fall, he will be continuing his studies through the Midwestern Training Network at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ben, pictured left, has been serving LifePoint as an usher on Sundays and as a community group leader throughout the week. It is one of his deepest desires to become a greater servant to the Church and point people to Jesus. He believes that it is extremely important for every Christian to be involved in community and to have fellowship with their brothers and sisters in Christ. Life together is not only enjoyable but transforming as well.

As an intern with LifePoint Church, Ben will be serving under Pastor Chris and help serve LifePoint’s Community ministries. He wants to get people connected on Sundays and help the community groups in any way possible. He is excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to see what God is going to do through each group. Ben has one purpose for his life; to see people meet Jesus and to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
